Easily switch between different desks

You may already organise your work with virtual desks to help you stay focused and productive. Now it’s even easier to create, access, switch between, and order your desks with a new button right on your shelf. Once you set up a second desk, the button will appear, and you can tap on the arrows to jump between desks, or click on the button to see all desk thumbnails.

Turn pictures of PDFs into text for screen readers

You can turn scanned PDFs that you have opened in Chrome Browser into text. With the help of Optical Character Recognition technology, previously unreadable PDFs and images can be instantly transformed into text. Text from PDFs and images are automatically extracted by default on screen readers. For screen reader users that need to turn it on manually, use the keyboard shortcut (Everything Button or key + M), then select “Extract text from PDF” from the context menu. Once it finishes, your screen reader will recognise and be able to read aloud the entire PDF.
