Almost 7 years & this phone still work better..
But the problem is only the port charging & bottom speaker, But still worth it to be 2nd phone in 2024..
Of course the camera still have A good result + super slowmotion that I always use in 960fps was an unique option video till now

I took a look on new phones to replace my trusty Sony XZ Premium that's built to last.
iPhone 15 and Samsung S24 both feel smaller to me thus harder to see the details in the screen and to use those phones in general. Maybe the idea of making them thin is to make them easier to be grabbed? Or maybe if my phone is "premium" I should look into replacing it with a Pro, X Max or a Plus?
Is only an effect due to me being used to my XZ Premium? Everything after it feels small, narrow and tall!!!??

Used for 5 years and 8 months without any issue. Today it is continuously restarting. Don't know why! Seems like it's time has come. So sad to say good bye to my best pal ever. Such a wonderful phone.

Sony should produce the same again but in a tiny size like a compact one.
only 2 desavantages :
-no radio fm without wifi
-too big to get in your pocket

Actually, those three phones still has highest display resolution till this date.
No one premium samsung, iphone, or else has high display res

Economical, 19 Sep 2023Still working since November 2017! Lives forever. Son... moreFrom TV to Laptop and XZ Premium I own them all. My XZ dated Aug 2018 still working great but the with swollen Battery that pushed the back panel popped open and exposed the parts inside. With 5G coming, been looking at new SONY XZ line, but the odd size of new phones and price stopped me from dreaming about a one.

I know that there are more options, but I also can get a refurbished or second hand XZ Premium for roughly $98 dollars (excluding shipping and import taxes) on Aliexpress. With a bit more money ($148, again excluding shipping and import taxes), I can get a Xperia 5, but it will be the Japanese version.
I'm most interest in the video experience of Cinematic Pro for Xperia phones and want to do home-made music videos all "do it yourself" style, but that's not an urgency. If I can't get a Sony phone, I'll go with a Samsung S10e/S10/S10+. These aren't cheap here as these Sony I mentioned, but the price stills fair, it's easier to get them and Samsung repair centers still has extra batteries, screen and anything I might need to replace.
