Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan signed his signing with the Kitchee club of Hong Kong professional soccer in 4 January 2018. At 38, the Uruguayan international will return to the courts with the Hong Kong team, which will play for the first time in its history the group stage of the Asian Champions League, from next February 13. Forlan did not play football since 2016, after completing his contract with Mumbai City, of India. The already legendary player of the Uruguayan national team has an impressive record. Among the individual titles that marked his career are the Best Player of the World Cup in South Africa-2010 and, with Villarreal and Atletico de Madrid, the prizes Pichichi 2005 and 2009, the top scorer of the Spanish League. Now he undertakes a new challenge by signing for the Hong Kong League champion.
