The Great Sichuan Earthquake

Tectonic earthquake:
Complicated:  An earthquake that occurs when the crust of the earth cracks and breaks due to adjoining plates and geological forces on rocks which causes physical and chemical changes.
Simple:  As the tectonic plates slide past one another they cause the crust to crack and or break which creates an earthquake.
