To qualify for the postgraduate medical entrance test, candidates must secure equal to or more than the NEET PG cut-off percentile and scores. The NEET PG 2024 cutoff percentile is 50th for the General category, 40th and 45th for SC/ST/OBC, and General-PH categories, respectively. The equivalent score of the NEET PG 2024 cutoff percentile will be released along with the result. Based on the NEET PG 2024 cut-off, the medical graduates will be shortlisted for 24,547 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 12,780 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma seats.
Based on the NEET cut-off 2024, NBE will prepare the merit list for qualified candidates. Aspirants securing the NEET PG 2024 cutoff will be included in the merit list. Through the NEET PG cutoff, qualified candidates will be granted admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota, all deemed/central universities, ESIC/AMFS colleges, and private institutes. The admission will be granted based on merit rank, closing rank NEET PG exam 2024, preferences of colleges and courses, seats available, reservation criteria, and other factors to the medical postgraduate courses. As per the latest official brochure, the NEET PG percentile rank shows how well a candidate performed in comparison to others, while the percentage tells how better a candidate has performed in the test. NEET PG 2024 cutoff percentage mark will tell the merit position of the candidate among others. To qualify NEET PG 2024 exam, medicos must mandatorily secure the minimum qualifying percentile. NEET PG cut-off General category is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC aspirants, it is 40th percentile. Based on the NEET PG cut off 2024 percentile, the merit list will be prepared.
The cut off of NEET PG 2024 will be considered for admission to the below-mentioned postgraduate medical seats:
50% All India Quota seats (excluding former Jammu & Kashmir state)
50% State Quota seats (including state of Jammu and Kashmir)

In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the NEET PG 2024 merit list, NBE uses NEET MD/MS tie-breaking process as mentioned below.
Greater number of correct responses - Candidates with a greater number of correct responses will be placed higher in NEET PG merit list
Lesser number of negative responses - If the tie still exists, Aspirants with less number of negative answers will be allotted better rank
Age - If the tie exists, the older candidate will be given first preference
Higher aggregate marks in MBBS - Candidates securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations will be considered first in NEET PG merit list 2024.
Using the cut off for NEET PG 2024, NBE will release NEET PG merit list 2024 containing merit rank. On the basis of merit rank, candidates will be called for NEET PG 2024 counselling for admission to 50% AIQ seats, 100% seats in deemed/central universities and ESIC/AFMS institutes.
To appear for the counselling of NEET PG 2024, aspirants need to register themselves using personal, contact and other details. While registering, aspirants have to provide their preferences of colleges as well as courses, in which they wish to get admission. Based on these preferences, All India Rank, seats available, reservation criteria, and other factors, the admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses will be done.

NBE will release the NEET PG 2024 cutoff scores with the result, once the NEET PG 2024 exam is over.
NEET PG 2024 qualifying percentile for General category is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC it is 40th percentile.
The cut off score of NEET PG 2022 for General category was 275, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 245.
The medical graduates must secure NEET PG minimum qualifying percentile to pass the entrance exam. The admission will be granted on the basis of NEET PG cut off.

There will be no problem as such . You should not worry about it now, let it be for now .
After your neet results when will get admission a call for counseling you must take your class x mark sheet along with you to ahow the college authorities where yoh will get admission.
You may carry your mother's ID proof to show the official persons but it is not a great issue , don't think much of it.

Hope you are doing well! It is mandatory to have ews certificate at the time of counseling or at the time of admission in the college which you will take . They will listen your problems or excuses whatever , they just need ews certificate anyhow ,so it is better for you to select your category as general if you don't have ews certificate available right now to avoid any problem in the future .

If you have gazzette with your changed name then you should not worry at all.
When a person changes his name, he has to get a gazzette certificate to verify . Due to this certificate the person's name is changed in government citizen list officially.
You may apply for neet pg with your new name
You will have to upload gazette certificate too.
Make sure your aadhar card , pan card shows your changed name .
Gazette certificate is the provision for citizens who change their caste or name Due to any reason.
