Tectonic Earthquakes

Tectonic Earthqukes are the most common type of quake.The tectonic plates are the pices of the earths crust.These are the type of quake where the dectonic plates at the epicenter of the quake move. The plates either diverge when the plates move away from each other (they are sometimes called spreading) ridges,converge when the plates go under each other (they are sometimes called subduction zones and transform when the plates rub together. These are the types of tectonic earthquakes that do the most damage.
