When it comes to fashion, nobody can surpass the sartorial prowess of Sonam Kapoor. Known for her luxurious and contemporary style, the actor is definitely a cut above the rest. So, when Sonam attended the Burberry show at London Fashion Week 2023, she exceeded all expectations with her elegant ensemble.
Posting pictures of the same, Sonam captioned it, “At the Burberry show today sporting its newest threads.”
Donning a head-to-toe Burberry creation, she looked chic as ever! Styled by Rhea Kapoor and Abhilasha Devnani, her outfit included the signature Burberry checkered print midi dress in grey and black hues with a turtle neckline and full sleeves. She paired it with a matching knitted woollen trench coat and leggings, which perfectly complemented her dress.

For accessories, she opted for a statement furry deep-blue Burberry handbag, calf-length leather boots and chunky silver earrings. Her hair and makeup were done by Namrata Soni, which consisted of a sleek hairdo and a minimal glam makeup look, comprising of a smokey eyeshadow, mascara-laden eyes, bronzed cheeks and nude lipstick. Overall, her high-street style look enchanted all fashion lovers.
According to reports, she is the only Indian to have been invited by British luxury fashion house, Burberry, for their exclusive Ready to Wear show in London.
Earlier this year, the Neerja star sported a fabulous preview from the Burberry Chief Creative Director, Daniel Lee’s Resort’24 collection. She also carried a statement bag from the iconic haute couture brand.

This is not the first time Sonam has represented India on an international stage. She earlier made India proud as she delivered a spoken word performance at the grand Coronation Concert planned for King Charles III in May.
For the special occasion, she wore an off-shoulder pristine white gown with a floral print, a collaborative effort between designers Emilia Wickstead and Anamika Khanna. “Historic moments call for fashion moments. I’m honoured to mark the unforgettable occasion of the Coronation Concert by wearing the collaborative vision of two of the most incredible designers from the two countries I’m lucky to call home,” she wrote.

On the work front, she was last seen in the crime-thriller movie Blind, directed by Shome Makhija.
