All this while we haven't really heard much about Kangana Ranaut's Simran except that it fell prey to a controversy. We all know what happened a few months back when editor-writer Apurva Asrani has lashed out both Kangana Ranaut and director Hansal Mehta for giving Kangana writing credits and also placing her name before his in the poster. However, now that the film's release date is inching closer, the makers have started a full - fledged promotional strategy. To begin with, the makers of Simran have released a brand new poster starring our very own Kangana Ranaut, who, by the way, looks nothing less than a diva in this pic. Kangana is seen flashing her gorgeous smile in this newly released poster of Simran. Isn't she absolutely stunning? But for now, there seems to be nothing extraordinary about her look. Of course it's only a poster, we can't really judge her character in the film on the basis of this poster but from what it looks like, they haven't experimented much with her look here. We heard reports that the film based on the life of an Indian girl who commits various bank heists in the US, only to be finally caught by the officials. It is a true story, however, neither of the parties have divulged more on it. The only way to find what the storyline of the film really is, is by watching the trailer. Talking about Kangana's role in Simran, we hear that the actress plays a 30 - year divorced woman in the movie. She has been paired opposite Sohum Shah. That’s a new jodi we must brace ourselves for! Starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, Simran is slated to release on September 15.
