Fast, reliable and better speakers than the A-line

Great phone, loads everything fast and is great at multitasking!
I previously had a A71 which had specs in par with its generations top flagship phone but it had subpar features to compensate such as terrible single speakers, storage space was good at the time but 128 gbs now isn't enough. This phone is better in everyway, faster, more storage, significantly better speakers, software adjustments have gone a long way and of course, the screen that started as a gimmick but actually adds alot of functionability. It's a bit like having a desktop setup and finally getting a double monitor. At first it just looks fancier but you notice alot of uses for it. Anyways great phone, my only downside is the battery, it's 100 mah less than the 2017-19 A71 which...is lackluster and you quickly notice how quick it drains, especially when using 2 screens. For me I'm okay with it because I still own my old phone and mainly use PC but after a day you might as well put it on to charge without checking.
This will be my last Samsung phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 5G’s Wi-Fi stopped working after less than 2 years, a clearly common issue with the Fold series. Many people on Samsung forums and other online platforms are complaining about the same thing happening just after 2 years when the warranty runs out.

Last month, every time I opened the internal screen, the phone froze and shut off. When powered back on, the Wi-Fi wouldn’t turn on. Reading about others’ experiences online, there seems to be an issue caused by the hinge of the Fold series.

Because my phone has a small scratch on the external screen, this has voided the Samsung warranty, and they want to charge me £800 to fix the Wi-Fi issue by replacing both the internal and external screens despite the internal screen having no damage, scratch whatsoever, which seems fishy to me.

Samsung’s customer service is extremely poor; they just take you around in circles with very little help and a dismissive attitude.

I feel that I have been robbed; the phone cost £1500.
So much promise but poor delivery

This will be the 2nd replacement handset I've had during the course of this contract, when I've asked about exchanging the phone for a more reliable model I've been told the value is in its ability to fold and that the technology is old/not powerful. I've taken a look at selling the phone to clear the contract, however I still owe more than the phone is now valued at.

Issues I've had included bubbling and or tearing of the central screen cover. Loss of Internet and or Bluetooth as these components are damaged if the phone is open and closed often... which I was mistakenly under the impression that was the purpose of the phone.

Front screen is too small to really use as a phone, difficult to send messages or use apps etc. So it's just useful to see notifications.

I would highly recommend you avoid this phone, Samsung have far better quality phones and I am looking forward to getting rid of this one.
Great phone at second hand prices

Probably not worth the original price but amazing for the second hand price. I had a note 10 plus for a good few years and loved it. Sold it and bought a pixel 6 Pro, which was fine but didn't blow me away. I ended up selling the pixel 6 pro and getting the fold 3 and at the 250~ price range, it's amazing. Battery life is ok, cameras are pretty good & the extra display size is great and probably a game changer for me. I probably won't buy a normal sized phone ever again as I'm not sure I could go back to the normal sized display.
