The Go Stainless Steal 18 oz bottle works great. Unfortunately, I have a few issues with it. I bought it to use in the hospital, where I've spent many months with my husband. I was hoping to use it for both of us to filter water to drink there, as their water is horrible. Since it filters the water on the way out, you can’t pour the filtered water into another cup. :( Also, I love ice water, with the filter unless you have crushed ice you can’t use ice in the bottle due to the filter going down the middle of the bottle. As, both of these characteristics are important to me, it was somewhat of a disappointment.
On the positive side the water taste great and I drank more water in the past week at the hospital than probably in the past three months my husband was an inpatient in critical condition. He just went through a heart and kidney transplant, due to his his in the service, with multiple complications. At this point we do not have the ability to buy a second bottle.
I do appreciation your company and what you are doing. Thanks for helping out those who need it most.

I didn’t expect this to be a sippy cup. Sometimes when I don’t use it for a few nights and open the top, the water explodes. I brought it on vacation to Florida and everyone made fun of me for blowing into the spout. (Blowing into the spout is recommended to increase the lifespan of the life straw) so it’s hard to be casual drinking out of this without first explaining it every new person walks into the room. Also, I noticed it makes whatever water you’re drinking taste better. When you put Florida water into the bottle for example, it still tastes like Florida water just a little bit less. This makes me a bit suspicious of if the water quality is good after sucking it through the straw. I don’t really trust to rely on it when I go to Mexico to safely drink tap water, which is disappointing for me. But it will at least be good for the use case of me drinking Nyc water.

I have a life straw pitcher in my home and I love it. I decided to give this bottle a try because I love their water filters. I also love how you can have access to filtered water wherever and whenever. However, I think the water bottle design could use some improvement. I do not like how the handle(and mouth cover) comes off. I wish it was attached to something and not completely removable. Also, it’s hard to open. If you’ve ever let your water bottle sit in a hot car you know how hard it can be to open a water bottle after. Also, the design makes it awkward and uncomfortable to open the bottle when trying to refill it.
I do like the stainless steel and all the available colors. I love how the mouth pice is covered compared to the other model sold by life straw. I red I other reviews how it is hard to suck the water up and they are correct. I wouldn’t say that’s bad but it can get annoying.

I bought 5 of them different colors with the protective base for our vacation to Florida and a cruise. We were very happy, we attached large carabiners to them to attach to our bags if we didn't want to hold the handle. We used them in the countries our cruise stopped at and we felt safe filling them up. We even took them to the parks in Florida for water in the heat. They work great and made us feel safe. They don't seem to change the taste of the water though, which was unfortunate as we have great tasting water at home and it is difficult to want to drink water elsewhere, but still made us feel safe with filling up where we normally would never drink from. Also, they hold ice for a really long time! I did have a problem with one of the initial water bottles and they immediately shipped out a new one, the customer service was fantastic and super responsive!! Will definitely buy again in the future.
