June 16, 2024This is my second 32oz Hydra Flask in less then a year. I have read stories about people running over their Hydra Flasks and they still keep their beverages cold. I am finding this hard to believe as I was using mine every day and as a sales rep was not abusing it at all. My issues were that in the course of using them I had accidently dropped them and there were small dents on the bottom of the bottle that seemed to have affected the ability of the bottle to keep beverages cold. Hydra Flask replaced the first bottle as I had it for about 2 years. The replacement bottle has lasted less then 3 months and it too has lost it's ability to keep my beverages cold. I purchased a new one at the REI 25% off sale and will be following up with Hydra Flask directly to see about getting the second one replaced. I want to keep using Hydra Flask but may need to look elsewhere for a bottle.

February 6, 2024There are so many things to like about this water bottle: excellent portability, essentially spill proof (even for me!), keeps my ice water cold for hours, and it can go in the dishwasher (I won’t buy a water bottle that can’t go in there.
The only downside is washing the cap. I knew I would need to handwash the straw as I do all of my reusable steel straws, but taking the cap apart to wash it decently is a “thing” for this neurospicy woman. I have to remember to pull out the red rubber thingy before I even start or I can’t get it out, then I have to scrub it with my dish brush, my straw brush, and this other funky little brush that fits in that tight space that screws onto the bottle itself. It may not seem like a “thing” for neurotypical folks, but that’s a lot of steps and nooks and crannies for some of us divergent folks. I think I have a good routine now, so it’s definitely in the rotation with my beloved Yetis.

October 3, 2024We bought this for our daughter for her birthday. She studied many brands of “expensive” water bottles and chose hydro flask. One week of school it slipped out of side pocket of back pack (in the school) and has two very large dents. I have never spent this much money on a water bottle for myself nor anyone else, but this is what she wanted for her birthday. A $45 water bottle should not sustain large dents with one drop, especially indoors. . I contacted hydro flask with situation. They offered for me to send the water bottle back (I pay shipping) and they would send us a $5 coupon to buy another one. What a joke! I will never buy another hydro flask. Do not recommend! Poor quality! DO NOT BUY! Waste of money
Worst water bottle on the market

May 18, 2024I don’t get the hype at all. I know these are supposed to be one of the best on the market but I don’t think I have ever bought a product I have disliked more than this thing especially for the price. I had a Takeya for years but lost it so I wanted to give this brand a try. What a mistake. It constantly leaks behind the spout at the top after taking a drink the first day I bought it (see photo of all the AZ hard water build up where it leaked constantly after only a couple months of use). It also makes a slurping sound if the straw isn’t in the absolutely perfect place when using ice. It’s not easy to screw on the top or open it and I’m not a small guy. There are far superior water bottles out there for the money. The absolute worst.
