January 8, 2024Things that are better water carriers than this cup: dixie paper cups Dasani plastic water bottles Cupped Hands This thing is a huge waste of money and is the cheapest piece of junk I have ever experienced. I bought one of these for my daughter for Chirstmas, it did not last 48 hours before being knocked on the counter and falling on the floor. 1 TIME. 1 TIME it fell on the floor from 3 feet high and the damage was so significant that the bottle cracked at the bottom and the bottom is dented so badly that the cup wont even stand up on its own anymore. THIS WAS NOT COVERED BY THEIR "LIFETIME WARRANTY" So it is headed to the bin. in 200 years a space ship flying, fossil fuel seeking space man will uncover this water bottle in a what was a pile of rubbish and will think that it looks like a great find. He will pour his Brawndo or whatever it is that future space men crave into this water bottle and he will set it down on the dash of his space ship. It will tip over and all of the liquid will leak out of it onto his dash. He will return it to the pile of rubbish from whence it came to continue to not decompose from hundreds of more years.

June 30, 2024My two daughters have had their Stanleys for a long while and kept saying how good they were. A few weeks ago, I took the plunge and treated myself to finally buy myself one as yes they are expensive, I chose the Guava one, a really lovely cheery colour.
All I can say was that I was so impressed how cold it kept my water all day, once I had drunk the water the ice cubes still remained and was able to fill up again without any extra ice.
I then bought my husband the bright blue one last week, since then it goes every where with him. He said it was the best thing I have ever bought, it keeps our water so fresh and cool all day.
Just to note that you have to screw the lid on really firmly or it will leak or the cup will drop off the lid with the carrying handle part ( which did happen to me). Once I realised that you have to almost over tighten it when you do it up, it doesn't leak and stays firm.
About to investigate if you can buy a cross body type bag to put it in for when I out walking the dog.
A good investment purchase that should last years, would make a lovely gift.

August 3, 2024Helps me drink water throughout day: ease of straw, handle is good for my whole hand to transport with me wherever I go (room to room). I tested & will leak if on its side or when straw lid is open & on its side (may depend on how tight you screw it on. Mine isn’t screwed on super tight). Straw spout long enough to be touch-free near the where your lips touch it, so no dirty fingers touch spout A+! Have arthritis - straw spout is a bit tough to push down & pull up every time I drink, so leave it up almost always (note: in public spaces, carrying by hand or messenger bag, I keep it closed). Easy to wash parts - lid (including straw spout), straw, bottle and a small cleaning brush fits perfect in the straw hole and in the straw itself (SOLD SEPARATELY). Use regular washing sponge or use bristled brush sold for bottles. Feels secure and safe. I’ve found a bottle I love.

November 18, 2023This is a superb bit of kit, built in the usual Stanley indestructible style. Big, solid, insulated & won't spill a drop when you've finished drinking & flipped the chunky mouthpiece back down.
It keeps your cold drinks chilled for a good few hours, but don't expect the same performance as a Stanley flask, as the insulating walls of the Iceflow Flip are much thinner. It still lasts much longer than any other insulated cup I've ever owned though, so it's still a top chill performer.
The lid has a substantial handle built in, which flips down out of the way when you're finished carrying the cup around - and you WILL need that handle to cart this thing around comfortably as it's a hefty beast, and unless you have very big hands you're not going to get one around this thing to carry it comfortably.
If you're serious about getting yourself a bomb-proof, leak-proof, chilled drink tumbler which opens and closes with the flick of a finger, and will probably outlive you - there's nothing better than this.
