Epidural blood patch (EBP) is indicated for the treatment of post-dural puncture headache in people who don't respond to conservative treatment (rest, IV hydration, PO analgesics, IV/PO caffeine) and who will not tolerate the 7 to 10 days in which most dural puncture headaches resolve.
