Jurgen Klopp has been handed a big boost ahead of Sunday's showdown with West Ham after Sadio Mane was passed fit.

The Senegal star limped out of last weekend's defeat at Bournemouth, reports the Liverpool Echo.

However, Liverpool's leading scorer is not understood to be facing a lay-off and will be part of the squad to take on the Hammers.

He returned to training with Klopp’s squad at the Centre D’Alt Rendiment de Sant Cugat in Barcelona on Tuesday.

Centre-back Joel Matip also trained after missing the game on the South Coast due to a minor ankle injury.

The former Schalke defender did some extra work with fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer after sitting out most of last week’s sessions.

However, Daniel Sturridge isn’t part of the two-day bonding trip to Spain as he stayed behind at Melwood to undergo treatment on the calf problem which has sidelined him for the past three matches.

The hope is that Sturridge will make sufficient progress to be able to rejoin the squad on their return from Catalonia.
