Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has forgiven Leonardo Bonucci after banishing him to the stands for Juventus's 2-0 first-leg Champions League victory in their Round of 16 tie against Porto.
Bonucci rowed with boss Allegri towards the end of the Old Lady's 4-1 Serie A win over Palermo on Friday evening.
The Italian international had a heated exchange with Allegri, then dashed from the pitch following the full-time whistle without acknowledging his coach or the fans.
Allegri confirmed ahead of the Porto clash that Bonucci would not feature, but said after the game that the issue was now resolved.
The Juve boss, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, even went as far as thanking Bonucci for being so emotionally invested.
"It's a shame that we had the incident on Friday," he said.
"These are things that happen during the season, I'll go as far as thanking him for raising the emotional tension.
"But Leo has apologized and everything has been resolved."
"Did we feel his absence? Luckily we have five excellent defenders and tonight they proved it. So if one is missing someone else plays and we don't lose our defensive quality"
Porto were forced to play for over an hour in the Estadio do Dragao with ten men after Alex Telles was dismissed for picking up two stupid yellow cards in as many minutes.
It was an evening for the substitutes in Portugal as Marko Pjaca and Dani Alves emerged from the bench Juventus firmly in the driving seat ahead of the second leg in three weeks' time.
Porto defended stoutly until the 72nd minute, when Paulo Dybala's ball ricocheted off Miguel Layun and into the path of Pjaca who struck past Iker Casillas.
Alves was brought on after the goal in place of Lichtsteiner and a minute later he had doubled the Bianconeri's advantage from an Alex Sandro cross.

Ahead of the match, Allegri had confirmed he would discipline himself for the altercation with Bonucci, which was caught by television cameras, as well as the defender.
"I have decided I will make a charitable donation next week, and I will reveal who it will go to in the days to come," he added.
"I think it's the right thing to do and shows my responsibility. Leo has understood my decision."
