Andrabi along with Fahmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen, who were already in the judicial custody at Srinagar Central Jail, were shifted to Delhi on Friday where they were presented before the NIA Special Court at Patiala House, which sent them on NIA remand for 10 days for interrogation and investigation.

The agency told the court that during the course of investigation several mobiles numbers, used by the members and associates of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, were collected and it has been found they are in regular contact with associates in Pakistan and involved in anti-India activities.

It stated Andrabi and her associates have "written and spoken words and published visible representations that excite disaffection towards the Government of India and promote enmity, hatred and ill-will between different communities on the grounds of religion".

Andrabi also solicited help from other banned terrorist organisations to wage war against the Government of India. Further, she and her associates have been continuously indulging in acts that are prejudicial to maintenance of harmony and sovereignty and integrity of India.

Meanwhile, hours after Andrabi was shifted to Delhi, Joint Resistance Leadership of separatists called for Kashmir bandh on Saturday to protest the NIA action.

It termed the NIA action the "worst form of political vengeance and vendetta against the resistance leadership". "Asiya is suffering from many ailments, but rulers undemocratically shifted her to Delhi on fake allegations," said a spokesman of JRL.
