Saath Nibhaana Saathiya: 3 reasons why Ahem is an a**hole and Gopi is an idiot!
The truth has finally been revealed in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. Vidya(Sonam Lamba) has learnt that her mother Gopi(Devoleena Bhattacharjee) was innocent and had to kill Radha, in order to protect her family. After ages of remorse and grudges against Gopi, Vidya has finally realized the worth of her mother and the fact that Gopi is a selfless, and sacrificing person. Vidya, Gopi and Kokila(Rupal Patel) are happy. But there's one person who continues to act grumpy and make things difficult for the three. Any guesses? Well it's our very own Ahem( Mohammad Nazim), who else! There's a limit to which one can take a person's nonsense and I have certainly reached mine, with Ahem. The two, make the WORST jodi one could imagine. What else can you expect from a man who is heartless and a woman who lacks brains?
The truth has finally been revealed in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. Vidya(Sonam Lamba) has learnt that her mother Gopi(Devoleena Bhattacharjee) was innocent and had to kill Radha, in order to protect her family. After ages of remorse and grudges against Gopi, Vidya has finally realized the worth of her mother and the fact that Gopi is a selfless, and sacrificing person. Vidya, Gopi and Kokila(Rupal Patel) are happy. But there's one person who continues to act grumpy and make things difficult for the three. Any guesses? Here are 3 reasons why I think he is an a**hole:
He never supported Gopi
The one primary thing a husband should do for his wife, is to stand by her, through thick and thin. Ahem failed, in this very essential foundation of a relationship! Despite knowing the truth, he chose to abandon Gopi and continued blaming her for all that she had done. Besides this, I have never come across an immature character as such , who has to be literally pleaded to, in order to support his wife! Don't believe me? Kokila's zillion fasts to push Ahem on that path, are an example enough. Grow up Ahem!
He hid the truth from his kids
How juvenile can Ahem get? In the last episode, when confronted by Vidya as to why he never told her the truth about Gopi's past, the latter replied saying that he wanted to protect Vidya from Gopi's "selfishness." He was seen stating that Gopi never cared for him or her kids, and didn't think twice about them before going to jail. Really Ahem? Did she have a choice? And what about the fact that she killed to protect the family, doesn't that count for anything?
He fails to understand Gopi's sacrifice
Even after being confronted by Vidya, Ahem continues to justify his deeds. He fails to understand Gopi's sacrifice for the Modi family and is adamant on blaming her all the wrong that has happened to his kids. When will Ahem wake up and acknowledge the fact that his wife meant well?
Now coming to the reason why I find Gopi an idiot. Despite knowing fully well about how Ahem thinks and functions, Gopi continues to take his crap and tolerate the nonsense he gives her. Do you lack a spine Gopi? She still stands hopeful on reuniting with him and getting rid of Mansi! Instead of doing all this, she should simply tell Ahem to start behaving himself and not treat her, the way he does.
Is that too hard? I hardly think so!
