The ad that features Padmaavat actress with cricket players like Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya sees her dancing on the IPL anthem. We must say the video and cricketers grooving on this iconic tune is the best thing we have seen today. It's for the first time when a Bollywood actress has been roped in for an IPL commercial where she shares the frame with other star cricketers. Wearing a golden shimmer dress with thigh high black boots, Deepika dazzled like a lady in gold. The IPL tournament is a big event for all the cricket fanatics who love to see their favourite play against each other. The month-long schedule is the biggest event that takes place every year on the Indian soil. The opening ceremony that was organised yesterday was a huge success, thanks to stars like Varun Dhawan, Hrithik Roshan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tamannaah and their stellar performances. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone's beau, Ranveer Singh was also associated with the event in his own way. The Gully Boy actor was all set to perform at its opening ceremony and he was also given a whopping amount of Rs 5 crore for 15-minute performance reportedly. But after he met with an injury on the Gully Boy set, he had to withdraw his name and was later replaced by Hrithik Roshan. Parineeti Chopra too had given her nod but had to withdraw for the same reason.

Ironically Deepika Padukone was earlier linked to Mahendra Singh Dhoni when she made her debut in the film industry ten years back. Though those were just the rumours, it's interesting to see how the duo ended up sharing the same platform after so many years.
