A win for Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel could have had ended Brock Lesnar’s stay in the WWE for a few months but he regained the title at the event, thus emerging as the face of the Raw brand once more. As it is expected, he will not be defending the WWE Universal title on regular occasions and his title defence might come only at Wrestlemania 35, four months after winning it. He is not slated to face any superstar for the title any time soon.

Lesnar might lose the title at Wrestlemania 35 but the latest report suggests that he is scheduled to make WWE appearance even after that event, which can also see him keeping the title.

“Brock Lesnar so this run he’s on right now will probably be similar to his last run in the company and he’s likely going to do more than a couple of dates. Again, it was reported originally elsewhere that he’ll do 2 more dates. It’s likely that he’ll do more than a couple of dates,” Brad Shepard noted on the Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast.

Lesnar did not appear on Raw for a month after he lost the WWE Universal title to Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell. It was suggested that he might not be in the race for the title but he attacked Reigns and Braun Strowman during their match, which saw a triple-threat match announced between them for WWE Crown Jewel.

Reigns was the favourite to retain the title but he had to withdraw from it due to leukemia. He is all set to sit out for a few months to cure the disease. Until then, it is expected that Lesnar will continue to keep the title. For now, he will be facing Daniel Bryan at WWE Survivor Series in a champion vs champion match.
