Meet Lara Jean Covey who is a high school junior lost in the world of romance novels. She writes a letter whenever she has an intense crush on someone but never sends them out. Okja
This delightful film is about young Mija who has looked after and been a best friend to Okja- a massive animal. They spent ten idyllic years together but all that changes when a multinational family-owned conglomerate takes Okja for themselves and transport her to New York where an image-obsessed and self-promoting CEO has different plans for the animal. Without any plan of action, Mija sets out on a rescue mission to save her best friend.
