VIJAYAWADA: Rajahm undry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar on Sunday informed that the State Government was considering a proposal of giving fee reimbursement for poor Brahmin community students and the decision is likely to be announced by Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy soon.

Following Undavalli Arun Kumar’s win as MP consecutively for the second time from Rajahmundry, various Brahmin Associations of Vijayawada on Sunday organised a programme here and felicitated him.

On the occasion, the Congress MP said that during his recent interaction with the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the Chief Minister responded positively to the proposals of Brahmin community and promised to provide some financial assistance to the community if they constituted an association for the development of the community.

Moreover, the Rajahmundry MP once again lambasted Eenadu Groups’ Chairman Ramojirao and said that people of Andhra Pradesh taught a fitting lesson by defeating the Grand Alliance in recent election even after Ramojirao’s pamphlet paper Eenadu wrote a series of baseless news and stories against Congress party for last five years.

Undavalli alleged that the Eenadu Editor Ramojirao never paid the income tax since launch of Eenadu paper and betrayed the Government many times by violating rules and regulations.
