Sushant Singh Rajput death case has been transferred to the CBI.

The Supreme Court has allowed the CBI to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput death case today. During the fourth hearing of Rhea Chakraborty's plea, Justice Hrishikesh Roy pronounced the verdict that CBI will be taking control of the case. Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to social media to express her feelings on the verdict.

Shweta Singh Kirti wrote, "Here we go!! Finally!! CBI for SSR!! #CBITakesOver."

Thanking God in another tweet, Shweta wrote, "Thank you God! You have answered our prayers!! But it is just the beginning... the first step towards the truth! Full faith on CBI!! #Victoryoffaith #GlobalPrayersForSSR #Wearefamily #CBITakesOver (sic)."

Shweta Singh Kirti also thanked her extended family. She wrote, "Congratulations to my extended Family!! So happy... first step towards victory and unbiased investigation. #JusticeforSushantSingRajput #OurfullfaithonCBI (sic)."

Sushant's cousin also reacted to the verdict. He said, "We thank everyone for support this will nail the case."

Sushant Singh Rajput's brother-in-law, Vishal Kirti said, "Whatever the outcome of the CBI inquiry is, at the very least, we will get a fair and unbiased inquiry now. Very thankful to the Indian jurisprudence for keeping the dreams and aspirations of millions of Indians alive. Thanks to #Warriors4SSR who have fought hard for this victory."

The Supreme Court told the Maharashtra government to comply and assist with the investigation. The Mumbai Police have been asked to help the CBI with their investigation. The SC further said that the inquiry conducted under Section 174 of CrPC is not an investigation. The Maharashtra government lawyer asked for permission to challenge the verdict. However, the Judge said that it is now a court-ordered investigation. H
