The Reds face Real in Kiev on May 26, with the Spanish giants eyeing their third successive title.
Jurgen Klopp’s attacking side stand between them and a 13th European Cup.
But Liverpool, while being somewhat of a surprise package in the final, cannot be underestimated.
The Premier League club have beaten Porto, Manchester City and Roma on their route to Ukraine.
However, Gento is confident Real Madrid will enjoy the experience in Kiev and does not expect Liverpool to pose much of a threat.
“Everyone gets excited by these kind of games,” Gento said.
“Everyone wants to be there to support the team and cheer them on to win another European Cup and continue this great run we're in and which we have always enjoyed.
“Madrid cannot let this chance slip — finals are to be won, not played and Real Madrid know what is at stake.”
What's hot
Asked if he was sure Real would prevail against Liverpool, Gento added: “That goes without saying, it will be a piece of cake.”
Liverpool are targeting their sixth European Cup, with Real (12) and AC Milan (7) the only clubs to have won more.
With Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane set to lead the Reds’ charge, Real face a tough ask to keep the Anfield outfit quiet.
Real Madrid vs Liverpool kicks off at 7.45pm (UK time) on Saturday, May 26.
