MANCHESTER United star Marcus Rashford has come under fire from TV pundits and fans for "diving" against Swansea.

The 19-year-old Red Devils striker was awarded a penalty against Swansea City at Old Trafford, which Rooney converted to put the club 1-0 up.

But replays of the incident have sparked a backlash from fans and TV pundits who claim the star dived to win the penalty.

The footage appears to show Rashford already falling before putting his foot out to make contact with Fabianski.

BBC Sports pundit Chris Suttion ranted: "Rashford dived for the penalty. That was simulation. It's a really poor decision and they'll feel hard done by.

"Never a penalty in a million years. Rashford dived. That's really poor from Rashford.

"He should have been carded."

Liverpool legend Michael Owen agreed, telling BT Sport: "Your eyes light up as a centre-forward.
