So how is Snapdeal selling drugs online without prescription related to Aamir? Read on to find out

Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is not just a superstar. He is a superstar with a cause, a crusader fighting against all societal evils, a man who does every bit of his social responsibility. After being slammed by progressive groups for his irrational moral policing of AIB Roast, looks like Mr Aamir Khan has got himself into yet another pickle. The actor, who happens to be a brand ambassador for online shopping portal Snapdeal, is being termed hypocrite after a FIR complaint filed against the online portal for selling drugs without prescription. So how does this make Aamir Khan a HYPOCRITE? He is just a star endorsing a brand. Or is he? Lets do some time travel and go back to May 2012. In his show Satyamev Jayate, Aamir Khan had pointed fingers on integrity of doctors and threw light at some illegal activities and scams prevalent in medical world. The actor turned 'social superman' then objected at the medicines and drugs being sold without prescription. Obviously, this did not go down well with the medical fraternity, who blamed Mr Perfectionist for generalising and demeaning the image of the doctors.

Now when an actor takes such a strong stand against blatant malpractices in medical world, one does not expect the same actor to go back on his words and endorse a brand, which has been sneakily selling drugs without prescription. Right Mr Khan? Then why the heck did Mr Perfectionist become a brand ambassador of such a brand? And if you are tying to make an excuse that you didn't not know about the sale of drugs through the site, then that to me is one of the lamest excuses coming from a man who once advocated for banishment of illegal scams from health industry.

I very well know that you Aamir Khan fans out there are sharpening your swords right now, coming up with counter arguments, but I am sorry to say that it does not change my opinion on Mr Aamir Khan being a hypocrite. If you want to earn money by endorsing brands which propagate illegal activities, that's totally fine. But don't ever try to play the Mr Goody Two-Shoes and social crusader if you don't give an F about the well being of your fellow beings.

So if I call Aamir a HYPOCRITE, am I wrong? I certainly don't think so. I invite you ardent Aamir supporters to come forward and make me eat my words.
