Chilli Powder attack on CM Kejriwal, AAP officially goes insane

kejriwal, chilli, assassination

Controversy’s favorite child is back – and how. Delhi CM Kejriwal was recently ‘attacked’ by a person while entering the Secretariat, who threw a pouch of chilli powder at him. The man, whose name is Anil Kumar Sharma, was arrested within hours by the local police and a case of assault has been registered against him, as per the primary reports.

However, what has followed since proves why Aam Aadmi Party is nothing more than a laughing stock for the entire nation. From hysterical statements, to absurd conclusions, topped by bizarre decisions, the following sequence of events prove that AAP has officially gone insane.

To begin with, the man of the moment himself led the pack. Repeating his ‘someone trying to kill me’rant, CM Kejriwal cried hoarse, alleging of a large conspiracy of his assassination. To quote his recent address, “I have been attacked four times in two years, and it’s no minor issue. These attacks aren’t taking place, they’re being ordered because we have become an obstacle and they want me to die. I will not let such attacks faze me, because I have dedicated my life to India. I want to tell the youth that AAP is not a party; it is the fight for Independence 2.0. These parties have destroyed the nation, and we have to fix it again.”

The next to arrive on scene were his followers, who of all things compared the chilli powder attack to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.  Following is the link to the absurd comparison :

Then they tried to forge hilariously absurd connections between the ‘attacker’ and BJP.

This doesn’t come as a surprise, since AAP followers are well known for such clownish comparisons and cooking conspiracy theories of Kejriwal’s assassination. From accusing the Army chief for the recent terror attacks, to accusing BJP of hacking EVMs, AAP members as well as followers have never disappointed, when it comes to making absurd conclusions.

However, matters came to a head when deputy CM Manish Sisodia agreed to organize a special session in order to discuss the implications of the attack on their CM. If accusing BJP of conspiring against CM Kejriwal wasn’t enough, the Deputy CM has decided to take this issue as a top priority for the Legislative Assembly.

To quote his press brief, “The special session of the assembly shall be organized from Monday onwards. In this there will be a discussion on the chilli powder attack on our CM and the subsequent stand of Delhi Police. Also we shall discuss the collusion of EC with BJP in removing the names of 30 lakh voters.” Ironically, it is right wing portals like us who are accused by sites like BBC of peddling ‘fake news.’ Isn’t this plain hypocrisy?

This is not all. In a letter addressed to CM Kejriwal, a large number of AAP MLAs have asked him to revoke the compensation that would be allotted to the Delhi Police martyrs, because they allegedly didn’t help the CM during the attack. Who’s being the fascist now?

If you thought Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rahul Gandhi were the only comedians in the field of politics, it seems like the entire AAP has decided to give a tough competition to them. Only Ishwar knows how much do the Delhiites have to suffer for the tomfoolery of this party, which keeps insulting their mandate over and over again.
