Watch: BJP MP cleans school toilet with bare hands
NEW DELHI: It is said that if one joins politics, they must be ready to get their hands dirty. It would seem that BJP MP Janardan Mishra has taken this to heart, as he pushed back his sleeves and got about the business of cleaning a school toilet in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa.
A video of Mishra cleaning the toilet in Rewa's Khajuha Village went viral after it was shared by news agency ANI on Saturday.
In the video, Mishra can be seen cleaning the privy with his bare hands, without using any other equipment or sanitary products. ANI reported that the toilet had been clogged and out of use due to "accumulation of soil".

The video had garnered over 1,600 retweets and close to 3,000 likes on Twitter and has been viewed well over 30,000 times since being posted late last night. Many have appreciated Mishra's actions and said that it sets a good precedent for other politicians in the country.
Earlier, the BJP leader, an ardent supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Swachh Bharat' mission, was spotted cleaning the streets of Rewa, his constituency.

People are just blinded by politics. Now many support this because it is done by their party MP. if it was done by other party MP, the would have mocked this. Anyway, I myself feel this is cheap publicity stunt, no one cleans toilet with hand, that too without gloves.Read allPost comment
