'Kazhugu 2' shooting begins today

The shooting of Krishna and Bindu Madhavi's 'Kazhugu 2' directed by Sathya Shiva kick starts today. The duo has acted in the first part as well, which received a critical acclaim for its realistic approach and the raw filmmaking. The shooting of the film started with a pooja today morning in Munnar.

Produced by Tiruppur PA Ganesh under GK Studios banner, the film will have music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who had delivered hit songs for the first part. Raja Battacharjee will handle the camera while Gopikrishna will take care of the editing.

Looks like it is a season of sequels. After Sasikumar's 'Nadodigal 2' and Vimal starrer 'Kalavani 2', Krishna's 'Kazhugu 2' has gone on floors. Other seques that are more awaited to release soon are 'Vishwaroopam 2', 'Maari 2' and '2.0', a sequel to Shankar's 'Endhiran'.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' is also expected to start soon.
