Chaityabhoomi to be off limits on December 6: BMC

MUMBAI: The BMC has decided not to allow visitors at Chaityabhoomi in Dadar on Babasaheb Ambedkar’s death anniversary on December 6 as the Covid-19 pandemic is still making people sick in the city, state and country.

The BMC decided not to make any arrangements at Shivaji Park this year for Ambedkar followers.

Instead, it will provide a Facebook Live link and request followers of Ambedkar to pay homage through it on Mahaparinirvan Din Only government dignitaries may visit the site to pay homage to Ambedkar.
