Bench of National Company Law Tribunal to be set up
JAIPUR: The Central government informed the high court that the Union Corporate Affairs had decided to set up a bench of the national company law tribunal in Jaipur.
The division bench of Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog and G R Moolchandani was hearing a petition by Rajasthan Bar Federation.
The petition said in the absence of a tribunal the high court is flooded with cases of company affairs and it takes a long time to decide on the matter.
Additional Solicitor General R D Rastogi appearing for the Centre said the ministry of corporate Affairs had already sanctioned a bench in Jaipur and the process is on. The court while issuing notice to the Centre posted the matter for next hearing on July 4.
