ERODE: Actor-turned-politician Kamal Hassan on Sunday said the goods and services tax (
GST) has adversely affected all sectors and it should be thrown into a
wastebasket.

The actor said total prohibition of liquor could not implemented in the state in a day. "It could be possible only after people are convinced about that," he said and added that people might turn to some other bad habits if prohibition was implemented in one go.
