Can't just let the Helio lineup die eh. Gotta keep crippling phones with them eh.

And why is this incapable of shooting in 4K? It's not like the slow G99 doesn't support it? Surely a "64MP" sensor shouldn't have any issues supporting it? Is it lazy Xiaomi devs? Is it intentional? Why?

Wow kinda looks like a zenfone ngl

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2024does G99 support 4K recordings? It's not about support or not, it's about processor, nobody needs such chipset in, we need snapdragon

              Anonymous, 13 Jan 2024does G99 support 4K recordings?No. It supports maximum 1440p 30fps.

The M6 Pro has OLED which makes it a lot brighter and less power hungry. OIS on the camera which is important for video and low light. I would easily get X6 Pro if it is just 25-30% more expensive the M6 Pro

I feel the switch from 3G to 4G in the budget segment was quicker. Nowadays, when comparing M6 Pro 4G and M6 Pro 5G, it‘s obvious they still have to save a lot on other components (with the 5G model) to get that 5G chipset in. Back in around 2013, there were maybe 2 years where Budget phones were released in a 3G and more expensive but otherwise identical 4G variant, then in like 2015 there were only 4G budget phones.

comparing poco x series with m series, are u kidding?

What a Helio going with you Xiaomi? Let you remind you, year is 2024...at least on should get 4k 30fps

Guys simple answer is if you're into gaming get X6 pro if you are just a casual user that binge on video streaming or social media just get the m6 pro, get something that suits your usage like literally, heck for the gamers I'd advice to wait for F6 series, I'm using poco F5 as I'm writing ( no motherboard issues btw )

This would be an upgrade to my X3 Pro at the same price when I bought it two years ago. It was easy to pick or single out the X3 Pro back then because it is the most affordable 120Hz display with an impressive SoC/chipset. Hard to choose this generation and the X6 Pro is 50% more than this M6 pro.

Bruh. Thought the Helio G99 Ultra would ATLEAST add support for 4K playback/recording turns out they didn't even bother and only really cared about the money by selling last year's products and marketing it as a new one(SOC companies have been doing this for years)
