One of the worst phones ever created. 3G RAM is diabolical in nature. half the time, the keyboard won't even load. We had better functioning smartphones in 2011. Shocked at how bad this thing is. Totally unusable.

    Honestly only using this phone due to my Moto G power screen going out. It works okay for a phone but the 32g of storage is used up pretty quick and can't run any game that uses a lot of RAM. Literally don't have any friends anymore so I play call of duty mobile. Only thing I kinda look forward to.. as soon as the G power is fixed then this one is getting tossed into the nearest pond

        I don't get all the hate I love this phone it's fast, has a great camera and great WiFi range

          Terrible. Worst phone ever. I would take my 2009 Blackberry over this phone. Spend the extra $30 and get something else. Please don't waste your money. Especially if money is tight. You're going to end up buying another phone soon. I have 4 very basic apps added to this phone, and I'm getting "Memory Full" warnings. Can't add anything else. So slow, you can't do anything on it. Or you click more than once ( because nothing is happening) and you end up ordering 2 of something, or it messed up the app, and you have to start over. Thankfully this is just a very temporary phone, and on to the next one.

            This is the worst phone I've ever had the misfortune of spending money on. My keyboard crashed twice while writing this, and chrome crashed once. My phone has over a gig of free space, no background apps open ATM, and chrome crashed while writing a review of how shit this phone is. DO NOT BUY IT. U.I. freezes immediately on launch, apps crash immediately on launch, keyboard crashed while writing, U.I. freezes Everytime the phone is open, the gps doesn't work accurately, the battery is garbage and runs out in less than a day, the chip isn't Qualcomm, the internet cuts frequently AND MY KEYBOARD IS FREEZING WHILE WRITING THIS.

              It's a phone, it does all of the phone things that other phones do. It probably won't play AAA phone games, but it does play Doom. Mine was $59.99 and included 1 year of service from Tracfone. It has a fingerprint reader and a headphone jack, which are two things that I find very useful, but Apple now refuses to include on their phones. Speaking of Apple, I've heard that thieves will now hold people at knife-point and force them to enter their Apple ID before stealing an iPhone. No self-respecting thief will mug you for this phone, but even if they did, it's no big loss.

                  If you're looking for a cheap phone that will work fine you will not be disappointed. The IPS screen also looks a lot better than LED.

                    But for the overall experience, it runs just fine, with an amazing battery life, and it has my most used feature, the precious headphone jack

                    Definitely recommend this phone if your looking for a no frills basic smartphone

                    I do miss the removable battery however :(

                      This phone is currently on closeout at Walmart for just $9.88 with a $40/month 15Gb AT&T prepaid plan. Heck a case for this phone will cost more than the phone itself! You can change it to a $30/month 5Gb plan when you pay for your second month. OK, other posters say it's slow. But it is a full sized phone with excellent imagry. So if you just need an extra full-size phone with a high-pixel image and you don't want to do any streaming and such ... for your kid or your glove box or whatever ... you really can't do better than this.

                        It does in fact have the fm radio app, you just have to go into the play store, type in moto fm radio and enable it

                        Motorola just doesn't pre install the radio app anymore for some reason

                        It's my favorite and most needed app that keeps me with motorola, so I'm happy to see it still around

                        Just like previous models, you use your headphones as the antenna receiver for the fm radio

                        Unfortunately, that is the only bright spot for this phone, as this phone's software is so SLOW!!!!!!!

                        Which is a shame as I loved the 2021 g play model, this phone is such a huge downgrade from the 2021 model,

                        That even at $50 I feel ripped off

                            My old g7 power died and I got one of these figuring it wouldn't be any worse than what I had, I was mistaken. This phone felt slower than a 2019 phone with Lineage OS on it and I'm having issues with wifi calling which I never had before. The build is fine for the price and the battery life is good. I don't care about the camera at all so no comment on that but the CPU/memory combo subjectively feels worse than a 4 year old phone. If you just need cheap and don't care beyond that I guess this phone is fine but I've started shopping for an upgrade.

                              At&t/cricket versions are $49.99 at Walmart so it's justified for the price even undercuts some white label phones in terms of price, but wouldn't recommend the unlocked version theirs better options out there from Blu and Samsung

                                  I been A year with cracked screen to point I couldn't take no more. So I caved and purchased a. New MOTO G PLAY 2023 32GB BLUE INDIGO DEVICE. My carrier was running a cell sale and I didn't get the cheapest on the site but I know the last 4 phones I have had had been Motorola phones since LG Cells are almost obsolete in my area. 😭 I had a moto g play 21 before this. I was pleased with it. I definitely liked the Stylus but I just can't afford given I'm a victim it n past couple yrs to flood and lost All I ever owned or had. This Phone was 5th phone down on page from prices lowest to high. I know I had older versions an was ok with. So far it's done me ok. I have to readjust and get to know the platform and setup given the older model I had for so long. The only issues I am having isn't the phone I don't think. But some apps I already had I play on thru Facebook as my log in option only Google Chrome keeps telling me I have to wait until reactivate and the provider of the app is aware of this content and is looking Into my request. But how? Given I wasn't signed in yet. I do realize everything I download I have to go into settings and give permission or can't access app. I say for what price I paid half of what goes for on this page I can't say I am disappointed. Wish was unlocked but my carrier has rules by your phone not account on the length you have it before you can get accepted thru requesting for unlocking. Which I think is ridiculous. You madea sale regardless by someone purchasing the device under your brand. And if a customer had even been with you from beginning of your starting up just getting your name out there should automatically have options without stipulation. Phone is perfect size, lightweight, I like that the camera is in corner this time not top center..but the ringtones and notifications could be louder. I can barely hear. I'd say like old saying goes. You get what you pay for. I think I did alright with the sale price I got it for. I usually need a 64gb but lord of know me knows I need to learn I don't need so many apps. So far I have quite a few and no problems of loading or slow or telling me yet I have to free up space. So if your not looking for anything more then a normal cell but able to browse social media and play a few addictive games and maybe have some other streaming apps or excel for diy, or small business this phone passes by my opinion.
