Cheaper like 100-150$, or 200$ more expensive, this still the best one you can get it on your country, go Xiaomi Pad 6 for cheaper, go samsung for the expensive ones.
How about Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro? i can't give you opinion because nobody sell it at my place.

Koopa, 07 Feb 2024Love the specs of the Y700 on paper but is there an equival... moreI believe the closest device is the Nubia Redmagic tablet. It's the same resolution. I believe the vapor chamber isn't quite as good and the speakers similarly aren't as good. The 2023 Y700 speakers are only really comparable to iPad Pro's, especially if you root and run JamesDSP and properly calibrate the speakers to a flat or Harman curve. For an Android tablet, the Redmagic speakers are great. The screen I can't say; in theory it's fine on paper, but that says nothing to its saturation, color volume, white balance, etc.
Unlike the Y700, it has cellular, a much faster charger (included) and is licensed to operate everywhere, which explains the cost difference as those cellular licenses are not cheap. The Y700 is definitely cheaper because it's only certified for Wi-Fi and in only one country.

Dumuzai, 03 Feb 2024No support gps ?Just got this tablet the other day and it does seem to have a GPS, just not listed for some reason. The default ROM is Chinese and no play store or anything installed. If you are thinking about buying this tablet I would recommend buying Japanese version NEC LAVIE Tab 9QHD1, it is the same tablet just for the Japanese market with a full version of android that has all the play services installed by default. You can buy this one and flash the NEC ROM onto it like I did, but it's a good amount of work but makes the tablet 100% better.

I bought this tablet a while ago and it is kind of a MacBook Air killer.And plus it has a touchscreen and a little better screen in my opinion. And at last the price very affordable. I would recommend it if you are looking to buy a tablet that can handle pretty much everything at a good price.

Anon, 07 Oct 2023Considering the price and quality of SOC I wont be surprise... moreThe reason why any other OM is not willing to release a good 8" tablet is because it would cannibalize the foldable niche. Since the only way to get into the small tablet segment is via foldables, if they offer a near premium tablet in the same screen size space it would draw some part of the audience from the foldables that all OMs are pushing currently and are making good money from. Image Samsung trying to compete with Lenovo, with some S class tablet. First that tablet would cost around 600-700$, twice as much as Lenovo, and on the other hand, it would reduce the sales of S Fold which costs nearly 2000$.
Unfortunately, again company greed dictates the market
