NLU Cut Off 2024 (Out) - Category-wise Cutoff Marks

The CLAT NLU cut off 2024 for the first first three rounds of CLAT seat allotment are now available on the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Only those candidates who clear the NLUs cut-off will get admission into the law courses at the participating National Law Universities. The NLU cut off has been announced for each NLU separately, for each round of counselling. According to the exam analysis, CLAT paper was easy this year. An easier CLAT question paper is likely to result in higher cut off for NLUs this year.

NLU CLAT Cut Off 2024

Here are some important points related to the expected NLU cutoff this year:

• CLAT 2024 was relatively easier this year compared to last year, so the CLAT cut off marks are expected to be higher.
• The CLAT analysis by Harsh Gagrani suggests that the difficulty level of english, GK and legal reasoning was easy while logical reasoning and maths were moderately difficult.
• An attempt of 105+ questions would be a good attempt
• Candidates must have a CLAT score of 90+ in order to get into top 3 NLUs namely
• A score of 85+ in CLAT would be a good score to gain admission into Tier 2 NLUs such as GNLU Gandhinagar, HNLU Raipur and NLIU Bhopal.
• To score admission at NLSIU Bangalore, candidates must score around 95 marks.
• For NLUs such as DBRANLU Sonepat and NLU Tripura which are new and not too popular among students, the cut off in the past has been low. Last year, the CLAT cut off marks for DBRANLU Sonepat was between 46-48%. i.e. around 72 marks out of 150. So, this year too, candidates can expect to enrol into an NLU with a low score.

NLU CLAT Merit List 2024

CLAT will release the NLU merit list 2024 in online mode. The merit list of CLAT 2024 will be released separately for each round. The merit list of NLU CLAT 2024 will comprise the names of candidates along with their ranks. Candidates whose names will appear in the merit list will be eligible to participate in CLAT counselling rounds. The CLAT merit list 2024 will also indicate the NLU allotted to the candidates.

NLUs Seat Allotment 2024

After publishing the CLAT result 2024, the Consortium of NLUs will invite the candidates to attend the counselling process. During CLAT counselling 2024 candidates would have to give their preference for NLUs. Based on the candidate’s CLAT 2024 score and the candidate’s NLU preferences, an NLU-wise allotment list on the consortium’s official website. Shortlisted candidates have the option of confirming their admission and reporting to the concerned NLU with the required documents. If a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted NLUs, then they can participate in the next round of seat allotment.
