The Common Law Admission Test is conducted every year for admissions to 24 participating National Law Universities (NLUs) and other affiliated law schools. The CLAT 2025 exam will be conducted offline through pen and paper-based test mode. The CLAT new pattern has total 120 questions instead of 150. The CLAT 2025 exam will evaluate the comprehension and reading skills of the candidates.
The exam is designed to not check a candidate’s prior knowledge of law, instead, it is a test of aptitude and skills that are required for legal education.
There are a total of five subjects in CLAT 2025 - English Language, General Knowledge & Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques.
The duration of the CLAT 2025 exam will be two hours.
The exam will comprise of passage-based questions.

CLAT Exam Pattern 2025
The CLAT 2025 exam is divided into five sections and comprises of total 120 questions. The Consortium of NLUs has specified the CLAT subject-wise weightage for each section of the exam. Each question in CLAT 2025 will carry one mark each and the maximum marks are 120. There is also a provision of negative marking and a 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Previously, the total number of questions in CLAT used to be 150. However, the consortium revised the CLAT paper pattern and reduced the number of questions to 120. Candidates are given time of two hours to complete the exam. All the questions in the entrance exam will be objective-type questions. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions. The CLAT 2025 paper pattern has been given in detail in the table below:

CLAT PG Exam Pattern 2025
The Consortium of NLUs notifies the CLAT LLM 2025 exam pattern separately on its website. The CLAT PG exam will comprise objective-type questions. There will be a total 120 questions in the entrance exam. Each question will carry one mark and the maximum mark of the exam is 120. Each correct answer will fetch candidates one mark, while every wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 0.25 marks. No marks wll be cut for unanswered questions. The CLAT LLM paper will comprise of questions from constitutional law and other branches of law. The detailed CLAT PG exam pattern 2025 has been given below:

CLAT Marking Scheme 2025
According to CLAT 2025 marking scheme, students will be awarded for each correct answer. The maximum marks of the exam are 120. For wrong responses 0.25 mark will be deducted as there is provision of negative marking in CLAT 2025. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions. CLAT UG Exam Pattern Subject Wise Analysis
Candidates can check the CLAT paper pattern for each section below:
CLAT English Language: This section of CLAT 2025 will comprise of 22 to 26 questions and it is given a weigtage of 20% in the exam. The CLAT English Language section will comprise of passages of around 450 words derived from historically significant non-fiction and fiction writing. The difficulty level of this section iss as per class 12. According to students who appeared for the previous sessions of the exam, this section of CLAT is usually easy but tricky.
CLAT Current Affairs including General Knowledge: This section of the exam will contain total 28 to 32 questions and it is given 25% weightage in the entrance test. The CLAT Current Affairs including General Knowledge section also comprises passage-based questions on current affairs. The questions are asked from topics like static general knowledge, national and international news and other related topics. According to past year candidates, this section is the easiest section of the CLAT exam.
CLAT Quantitative Techniques: This section carries the minimum weigtage in the CLAT exam. There are total 10-14 questions in the exam from CLAT Quantitative Techniques. The questions in this section are based on elementary mathematics from topics like ratio and proportions, basic algebra, mensuration and statistical estimation.
CLAT Legal Reasoning: The CLAT Legal Reasoning section of CLAT 2025 will comprise of 28 to 32 questions. The questions will comprise of 450 words passages related to public policy making, legal matters or moral philosphical inquiries. According to previous year analysis, this section was easy and the passages were short.
CLAT Logical Reasoning: This section will comprise of total 22 to 26 questions and carries 20% weightage in the exam. The CLAT Logical Reasoning section will also comprise of 450 words passages followed by one or more questions. Questions in this section are of easy to moderate difficulty level.

As per your question, NO you are not eligible to give CLAT exam this year. Because the eligibility criteria for the CLAT exam provides that, you need to complete your 12th grade and during the filling of application form for the CLAT, you need to put your marks, and without completing 12th you cannot get your marks.

Hope you are doing well!
Taking admission in ba llb in nmims with 68 marks is only possible when you belongs to sc/st category. 60-70 is a good score in CLAT exam for SC/ST category.Analysis of the paper suggests that a good score in CLAT will be 80-90 this year. Overall, 90+ is a good score in CLAT 2024 for the general category
