Ram Charan signs OTT platform deal worth a whopping Rs 7 crore - details inside

Ram Charan Teja is one of the leading actors in the Tollywood film industry. He has earned an immense fan following over the years and has back to back magnum opus films to his name. With his active presence on social media, netizens are happy that they get a glimpse of the star often. It is quite known that Ram Charan is a private person and takes up projects and advertisements only after due diligence. 

The megastar has now become the new brand ambassador of OTT giant Disney + Hotstar. Reportedly, Ram is charging between Rs 5 crore and Rs 7 crore per year from Hotstar.

Recently, Rangasthalam star shot for the print and television ads of Hotstar in a popular studio in Hyderabad and Hotstar is likely to take the campaign live very soon. 

On the work front, Ram is currently busy with SS Rajamouli's RRR. Fans were overjoyed when it first came about that RRR will release on October 13 in theatres worldwide. But as per the latest update by the RRR team, the film’s release has been pushed yet again since theatres in most states continue to remain shut. The upcoming period action drama stars Jr NTR and Charan in lead roles and it also has Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt essaying pivotal characters.

He will also be playing a role in Chiranjeevi's film Acharya. The film will have his father Chiranjeevi, actresses Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde in the lead. The movie is based on the lives of two legendary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Meanwhile, Ram also a part of acclaimed filmmaker Shankar Shanmugham's tentatively called titled RC 15 and SVC 50. It will marks the first collaboration of Ram Charan and Shankar.  RC 15 also features Anjali, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra, and comedy star Sunil has been roped in to play a supporting role.
