announced a partnership to launch a unique bundled broadband offering for customers in India.<br />

Under this alliance, customers buying <strong>Dell</strong> laptops will get a <strong>Tata</strong> Photon Plus post-paid<br />

connection at a special price, ensuring faster and seamless connectivity across India while using<br />

the laptop.<br />

Commenting on the announcement, Mr Deepak Gulati, Executive President, Mobility Business<br />

Commenting on the tie up, Mr Mahesh Bhalla, Executive Director & General Manager,<br />

While the offer entitles customers purchasing <strong>Dell</strong> laptop to a <strong>Tata</strong> Photon Plus connection at a<br />

special price, with the first month of usage coming absolutely free, the partnership will be<br />

subsequently extended to include <strong>Tata</strong> <strong>DOCOMO</strong>’s cutting-edge 3G products as well. Furthermore,<br />

customers will also get other unique benefits such as choosing their own personalized usage limits.<br />

At present, <strong>Dell</strong> will be offering this unique bundling option to customers of laptops in 152 major<br />

towns and cities across India.<br />

<strong>Tata</strong> Photon Plus Mobile broadband service allows customers to be connected anytime, anywhere—<br />

not only for e-mails, but also for watching Live TV, downloading and uploading heavy files, photo<br />

sharing, etc. It also supports entertainment services such as music download, video streaming, as<br />

well as sharing of images, videos and files.<br />

The partnership will leverage cutting-edge tools to simplify the Customer Acquisition Process for<br />

both users and channel partners, also being an industry-first in terms of the Electronic Customer<br />

Acquisition process. Furthermore, a dedicated Customer Care wing will address customer requests<br />

and queries, cutting down on lead times and resulting in a better after-sales experience.<br />
