Behind The Lens

Location

Here is another photograph taken up in Kolkata (formally Calcutta) in India.

Time

Just after midday on a slightly overcast day.

Lighting

As mentioned previously, the day was slightly overcast which gave a nice diffuse light effect.

Equipment

Minolta Dynax 9 with Sigma 70-210mm f2.8

Inspiration

The rikshawala himself, it's all about his style and character.

Editing

No post processing applied, as I used Fujichrome 100.

In my camera bag

For this period, I would usually carry my Dynax 9 and 700si, Sigma 70-210mm, Minolta 28-70mm and Minotla 5400HS flash.

Feedback

Street photography is spontaneous with fleeting moments. So there is no time to set up your camera when an opportunity presents its self. So I like to set up my camera beforehand and travel with minimum equipment.
