Here's how Parineeti trained for Saina Nehwal's biopic 

Former World No.1 badminton player Saina Nehwal is celebrating her 31st birthday on Wednesday. Saina, who is set to play her Round of 32 match in the All England Open today against Danish player Mia Blichfeldt received a special mention from Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra on her 31st birthday. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Parineeti shared her special journey of gearing up for a sports biopic movie that chronicles the life of ace shuttler Saina.  

For the unversed, Bollywood actress Parineeti will be next seen in Saina's sports biopic titled Saina. On the 31st birthday of the ace shuttler, Parineeti posted a behind-the-scenes video about how the actress trained for the ace shuttler's biopic. The Bollywood actress took part in a series of gruelling sessions to ace the role of Saina on the celluloid. 

"Badminton is the fastest racket sport in the world. You need some serious skills to play an Olympian and I realized that on my very first day on court. There have been days I've cried on court, there have been times I've said 'I can't do this' but then my mind flashes with the image of the millions of people who are going to watch this and that would make me get up," Parineeti recalled in the video shared by the Bollywood actress. 

The biopic Saina is slated for a theatrical release on March 26 this year. As Saina is celebrating her 31st birthday, a host of sports athletes wished the badminton icon on her special day. "Happy birthday @Nsaina! Hope you have a successful year ahead and keep making the country proud my best wishes", former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh wished the Indian badminton superstar with a special tweet.
