Speculations suggested that she would flaunt her baby bump on the iconic stairs, fitting the theme, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion. However, recent updates indicate that fans might have to wait a bit longer as Deepika is likely to skip the event due to her busy work schedule.

Deepika Padukone not to attend Met Gala 2024: Reports

The expectant mother is currently busy in shooting for Singham Again and gearing up for the release of Kalki 2898 AD on May 9. With the MET Gala scheduled for May 6, it seems probable that it would clash with her promotional commitments for the upcoming movie.

A soruce disclosed as reported by ETimes, "Deepika Padukone has been a regular on the MET Gala Red Carpet. It is only natural for fans to anticipate her appearance at this year’s MET Gala. However, Deepika is in the midst of filming for Singham 3 and preparing for the release of Kalki 2898 AD, both of which coincide with this year’s MET Gala. She will therefore not be attending this year's event."
