Mumbai: It was a grand weekend for the Ambanis as Tina and Anil Ambani's elder son Jai Anmol Ambani tied the knot with Dysco founder Khrisha Shah in Mumbai. The couple exchanged rings last year.

Actress Hema Malini, the Bachchan family, NCP leader Supriya Sule were among the notable guests who were a part of the star-studded Ambani wedding on Sunday. The wedding venue was Anil Ambani's lavish Mumbai's Pali Hill residence.

Bride Khrisha wore a traditional red lehenga complemented with heavy embellishments, while Anmol, the groom, donned a cream-color sherwani with a gold embroidered stole and layered emerald neck piece.

Dressed in a striking blue saree, Supriya Sule took to Instagram to share a few glimpses from the wedding, also wishing the newly-weds on their matrimony. "Krisha and Anmol. So Happy for both the Families!," she wrote.

The Bachchan family, including Amitabh, Jaya, Shweta Nana, Abhishek also graced the wedding festivities. Hema Malini also posted a picture with her "Good friends outside Parliament" from the wedding.

Meanwhile, another key guest at the Ambani wedding was Aparna (Pinky) Reddy, former President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry FLO (FICCI Ladies Organisation). She dropped a number of pictures from the grand celebration, calling it "beautiful".

"Beautiful wedding. god bless Anmol & khrisha .super fun catching up with old friends, Tina & anil are super warm hosts," she captioned.

Aparna's picture album feature the groom's mother, Tina Ambani, looking resplendent in a red lehenga while her husband and Reliance Group chairman kept it simple in a cream sherwani.

Antara Motiwala Marwah, Tina Ambani's niece, also posted photos from the Ambani wedding, featuring the bride and the groom.

The Ambani family has been having a gala time as they were indulged in the pre-wedding festivities of Anmol and Khrisha a few days back. Krishna’s family hosted a Mehendi ceremony on February 18, a ceremony in which the bride-to-be is prepared for the wedding day by applying Heena on her hands.

Krishna’s sister Nriti Shah shared an image of the ceremony in which a peppy Krishna is seen seated with stretched hands, talking to someone, as Heena artists apply the ointment on her palms.

The pre-wedding ceremony was also attended by NCP leader Supriya Sule, who also is a family friend of the Ambanis. She also shared a few photos of the Mehendi ceremony on her Instagram profile on Saturday.

Tina and Anil's elder son, 30-year-old Anmol is an alumnus of Warwick Business School in the UK. While he formally began his corporate journey in 2014 with Reliance Mutual Fund, he joined the Reliance Capital Board in 2016.

Later in October 2019, Anmol was appointed as director of Reliance Infra along with his brother Jai Anshul. However, in less than a year of their joining, both brothers quit from their posts from the board of Reliance Infra.
