New Delhi: Industrialist Anil Ambani’s family has found a daughter in Khrisha Shah, who tied the knot with Jai Anmol Ambani last week in Mumbai. In a lavish wedding on February 20, Anil and Tina Ambani’s elder son Jai walked down the aisle with Dysco founder Khrisha.

The couple tied the knot at the Ambani’s Pali Hill residence and received blessings from notable celebrities including actress Hema Malini, the Bachchan family, NCP leader Supriya Sule among others, who all were a part of the star-studded Ambani wedding.

Tina on Saturday took to social media to welcome Khrisha into the family while also giving a sneak peek into the big fat Ambani wedding!

“Welcoming our daughter! Blessed and overjoyed as Khrisha enters our home. A new chapter for Anmol, a new energy in the house, a new beginning for us all. Gratitude,” she captioned a picture of her with husband Anil, son Jai and daughter-in-law Khrisha.

Giving a tiny wedding album-like feel, the groom’s mother put out beautiful portraits from the ceremonies including Mehendi, Haldi, Mandva Mahurat and the sundowner.

Jai-Khrisha's wedding reception

A day after Jai Anmol Ambani and Khrisha Shah tied the knot, the Ambani family on February 21 threw a cocktail and dinner reception celebrating the newly-wed couple, the pictures of which have been making rounds on social media.

Columnist Shobhaa De, who attended Anmol and Khrisha’s reception party in Mumbai, gave her followers a peek inside the function on Instagram. The new bride, Khrisha, looked resplendent in her pretty lilac ensemble, which she complimented with a statement diamond necklace and earrings. The groom, Anmol, looked dapper as he opted for a white shirt and pants paired with a blue blazer.

Pre-wedding festivities

Krishna’s family hosted a Mehendi ceremony on February 18, a ceremony in which the bride-to-be is prepared for the wedding day by applying Heena on her hands. Krishna’s sister Nriti Shah shared an image of the ceremony in which a peppy Krishna is seen seated with stretched hands, talking to someone, as Heena artists apply the ointment on her palms.

The pre-wedding ceremony was also attended by NCP leader Supriya Sule, who also is a family friend of the Ambanis. She also shared a few photos of the Mehendi ceremony on her Instagram profile on Saturday.

Who is Khrisha Shah?

Krisha Shah is a social worker and entrepreneur. She founded Dysco, a social network company. According to the website, Dysco is an independent social network and platform built to help people connect, co-create, collaborate and work together. She was earlier an employee of Accenture in the UK but returned to India some time back and started Dysco.

Shah also started a mental health campaign to help under pressure due to Covid-19 pandemic.
