Actor Shah Rukh Khan, reportedly, met with an accident on the sets during the shooting of one his projects in Los Angeles. Immediately after the accident he was rushed to the hospital in United States (US) and had to undergo a surgery.

The actor was spotted with a bandage on his nose after he returned back to India.

However, an official statement was not issued by Shah Rukh or his team.

"SRK was shooting in Los Angeles for a project and he ended up hurting his nose. He began bleeding and was immediately rushed to a hospital," ETimes reported.

After the surgery, SRK is now 'recuperating at home'.

"His team was informed by the doctors that there was nothing to worry and that King Khan would need to undergo a minor surgery to stop the bleeding. Post the operation, SRK was spotted with a bandage on his nose Shah Rukh Khan is now back in the country, recuperating at home," it added.

Earlier, while shooting for the movie Raees in 2017, he underwent a surgery for knee injury. During the shooting of Chennai Express too he was injured in 2013.

His much awaited first glimpse of Jawan will be out this month. The movie is expected to hit the theatres on September 7.

SRK is also set to make a special appearance in Salman Khan's Tiger 3 movie.
