Reunion 2024 Programming

Friday, June 7

Check-in and On-site Registration | 3–7 p.m
Located on the second floor of Coeur de Catherine. Session locations will be included in a schedule available to all at registration.

Evening With St. Kate’s — Open to all | 6–7:30 p.m.
President Roloff offers farewell reflections on her St. Kate’s presidency. Alumni tribute to follow.

After Party Celebration — Open to all | 7:30 p.m.
Join us on The O’Shaughnessy patio following Evening With St. Kate’s. Alumni and friends will celebrate President Roloff and her upcoming retirement with refreshments and conversation.

Saturday, June 8

Self-guided Tour of University Fine Art Collection | 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Enjoy a self-guided tour of art on campus. Visit highlights from the St. Catherine University Fine Art Collection with accompanying notes specially curated by Nicole Watson, director of the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery. 

Women, Catholic, Liberal Arts: About Our Mission Today | 9–10:30 a.m.
Endowed chairs each lead one aspect of the three-pronged St. Catherine mission. Join chairs Sharon Howell, CSJ; Sarah Rand, PhD; and Todd Deutsch, MFA, for a discussion on their work moving forward Women, Catholic, and Liberal Arts at St. Kate’s.

Chapel Restoration Tour | 9:30 a.m.
Learn about the restoration of Our Lady of Victory Chapel, now underway. We will provide a brief overview, show “before and after” photos, and answer questions about the restoration concepts.

Mendel Renovation Tour | 9:30 a.m.
See a special preview of the progress reimagining the learning and collaboration spaces within the Mendel science building. Transformation of the science spaces will benefit the teaching of St. Kate’s STEM students present and future. 

All Class Parties | 11 a.m.
Reminisce and catch up with classmates over a festive brunch featuring mimosas, coffee, and an abundance of hot breakfast and lunch options.

25-Year Class Pinning and Photo | 1 p.m.
25-year alumni will receive the silver pin in a special ceremony.

50-Year Class Pinning | 1:30 p.m.
50-year alumni will receive the gold jubilee pin in a special ceremony.

50-Year Class Photo | 2 p.m.
Classmates from 1974 will gather for a photo to commemorate this 50-year milestone.

Student-led Campus Tour | 1:30 p.m.
Revive your own campus memories on a tour led by a current student! Refresh your knowledge of University trivia and revisit favorite corners of the beautiful St. Catherine campus.

Volunteer While You’re Here | 1:30-4 p.m.
Drop in to participate in various volunteer activities. Stay as long as you like, and chat with friends while supporting St. Kate’s projects. 
Volunteer Projects:
The Dialysis Sweatshirt Project: Use your sewing skills to help create comfortable, accessible sweatshirts for people going through the dialysis process. Each sweatshirt allows access to the upper chest region and both arms but allows for modesty and warmth during the time of the procedure!
Welcoming the Dear Neighbor Project: Read through flagged housing deeds and help create a database to plot these racial covenants and better understand the history and landscape of racism within housing. We will be utilizing the computer lab so we can work and learn together.
Note writing: Write notes to incoming students to welcome them to campus and the Katie community! Cards and envelopes provided.

Feature Film and Fun | 4:30 p.m.
Join us for a St. Kate’s-style movie night, accompanied by classic movie snacks! Featuring a movie led and influenced by women — stay tuned for the title reveal.

Saturday Evening — Open to all: Plan your own Saturday evening on the town with friends following the movie, or stick around for a special event with Roxane Gay, presented by The O’Shaughnessy and the Loft. Visit oshag.stkate.edu for discounted tickets. 

Sunday, June 9

Light Brunch — Open to all | 8:30-10:30 a.m.
Drop in and enjoy a variety of light breakfast refreshments.

Sunday Mass | 10:30 a.m.
Join the St. Kate’s community for Sunday Mass, and participate in the liturgy and music that offer warm memories of days at St. Catherine University. 

Honor Your Reunion

Consider the influence your St. Catherine education has had on your life. Imagine the impact you can have on the experiences of today’s Katies. A special Reunion gift reflects your love of the University and all that St. Kate’s has done to shape who you are today.

Your participation matters, and your contribution will go directly to work supporting students who are continuing to face financial challenges while working towards completing their degrees. All gifts given by Reunion celebrants will count toward their class gifts.

Housing Information

On-Campus Housing
  • Overnight accommodations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The Henrietta Schmoll Rauenhorst Residence Hall offers four-person shared suites with a kitchenette and bathroom in each unit.
  • Spouses and guests are welcome. All overnight guests should be accounted for in the registration form. (Maximum 3 total guests. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.)
  • Cost: $55 per person per night. Coffee and continental breakfast are included.
