    SC orders a study on the impact of Vedanta mining.

    October 5 2007
    Provisional clearance to granted by MOEF

    March 7 2008
    Rahul Gandhi goes on a four day tour to Orissa and attacks the BJD on its farmers policy.
    August 8 2008
    The supreme court gives approval to sterlite Vedanta pvt. Ltd. To starts projects delayed
    over protest and land disputes in Orissa.
