    .LTTE formed May 1976 under leadership V.Prabhakaran. .     .In 2002 the LTTE dropped its demand foa separate state , istead of this they demanded form of regional autonomy. . In Dec 2001 , after defeat of Kumaratunga in election and next power elected Ranil Wickramsighe , LTTE decleared a unilateral ceasefire. .The Srilankan government agreed to ceasefire and in march 2002 ,the Ceasefire Agreemant (CFA) signed and other Nordic countries also agreed.

    .The United State Departmant of State ,that is reason of banning LTTE as terrorist group. .The blamed on LTTE was that doesnt respect human rights, and that doesnt adhere to standard of conduct expected of resistence movement or called Freedom Fighters. .The FBI(federal Bureau of Investigation) decleared LTTE most dangerous and deadly extremist in the world.

    .LTTE has lauched several attack on civilian tiger several time. .Such attack include Aranthalawa mosque massacre .Anuradhapura massacre , kattankudy mosque massacre,Kebithgollewa massacre and Dehiwala bombing. .Civilian have also been killed attack on economics target as Central Bank Bombing.

    .LTTE womens involvement in leadership and fighting force of group has rise debate about participation oh female in LTTE fighting . .Tamils woman true represent tamils force and wether in general public .they got equal rights during post conflicts period. .All the existing literature illustrate that LTTE has unsuccessful in creating the gender equality within movement. . they sugest that womem have right to achieve their emanicipation and empowerment without linking to interest of nationalist and ethnic struggle.

    .The LTTE has been used child soldiers under 18 age agaist Srilankan government force. . They accused of having 5794 child soldiers in its rank since 2001. . Due international pressure . the LTTE announced in July 2003 . that it would stop conscripting child soldiers. .UNICEF and Human Right Watch , both these international organization hve accused it of renaging on its promise, and of conscripting Tamil children orphaned by tsunami. .A reprt has releasd by LTTE , Child Proyection Authority (CPA) in 2008 started less than 40 soldiers under 18 reamined in its force . . In 2009 a Special Representative of the Secretary General of UN the tamil tiger continue to recruit children to fight on frontline and use force to keep many civilian children in harm way
