RSS chalks out massive expansion plan in West Bengal, aims to reach every ward

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is entering its centenary in the year 2025. Before this, the RSS has set a target of reaching every panchayat and ward in West Bengal.

Kolkata: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has set a target of reaching every ward and panchayat of West Bengal by next year. 

The meeting of All India Representative Assembly is being held in Panipat on 12-14 March.

The plan will be finalized in this meeting. 86 delegates from Bengal are expected to attend this meeting. 

Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat recently held a meeting regarding the situation of RSS in Bengal and expressed satisfaction over the expansion of RSS.

Mohan Bhagwat had also held a meeting in Kolkata on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

RSS’s Dakshin Bang Prachar Pramukh Biplab Roy told TV 9 Hindi, “We have made a three-year plan. In the year 2025, the centenary year of the Sangh is being completed. With the successful implementation of the plan, the work of the Sangh will increase. The influence of the Sangh will increase in the society.

According to sources, this year this meeting is being held in Panipat on March 12-14.

From this meeting, the next one year program of the Sangh at the state and central level will be discussed.

86 delegates from Bengal are going to attend this meeting.

Of these, 32 representatives from three quarters and 54 departmental officials can attend the meeting.

According to the senior official, the discussion organized by each state will be divided into two phases. 

At one stage a report will be given on the organizational matters i.e. the status of the branch. 

Social status will be discussed in the second phase. According to the sources, in the report being prepared in Bengal, the work of the Sangh will be highlighted in every ward of the urban areas and in every panchayat of the rural areas, preparations for formation of shakhas is going on.

According to the plan, the volunteers will go there every week to collect like-minded people. 

They will do the work of propagating the ideals of the Sangh in them. Apart from this, plans are also being made to organize ‘Shikshavarg’ (discussion and training camp) throughout the year.

Initially, it has been decided that two education classes will be held at Tantaberia in Howrah and Gopali in Kharagpur in South Bengal.

Similar educational classes will also be organized in Central and North Bengal. 

According to sources, it will last for 20 days. The volunteers will all stay together for 24 hours, eat and rest. 

There will be four hours of physical exercise, one hour of service program training and rest of the time there will be topic based discussion.
