Compatible with the EnterprisePlus, Endeavor, and PRO-RT Series UPS, the SNMP-NV6 is an interface card between the UPS and the network, which can obtain the status of the UPS and issue commands to it. This card supports popular protocols including SNMP and HTTP(s) thus you can access it through the SNMP NMS and web browser. It monitors the status of your UPS, and stores event logs and metering data in the EEPROM. The bundled SNMP management software retrieves information from the UPS, and can execute commands in response to events and alarms generated by the SNMP-NV6 card. The software supports auto shutdown to shut down computer orderly to prevent data loss when power event occurs. The notification via SNMP Traps and e-mail through SMTP keeps you informed of the power events, thus you can respond immediately.
The SNMP-NV6 card is an upgrade of SNMP-NV6 model, with an array of new features like support for IPv6, SNMPv1, v2C, and V3, adjustable low battery warning alarm, and batch configuration and more.
- Network connection through RJ45 connectorSNMP-NV6 allows direct connection of the UPS to the Ethernet network through a RJ45 connector without using RS232 ports on the computer and without loading any individual UPS management software on the network server.
- Network UPS management and monitoringSNMP-NV6 allows remote management of the UPS from any workstation through Internet or Intranet, and allows monitoring of the UPS using the MIB (Management Information Base), or an Internet Browser.
- Configure UPS and system functions from any client (password protected)SNMP-NV6 configures the UPS and the system parameters from any SNMP management station or through an Internet Browsers using HTTP forms and objects.
- Event logs & Metering data stored in the EEPROMSNMP-NV6 provides historical data of UPS’ power events, power quality, current status and battery condition.
- Multiple server shutdownThe included shutdown software provides an automatic shutdown either pre-programmed by administrator or when critical power events occur.
- New Features of this Upgrade ModelThis upgrade model comes with loads of new features to future-proof your UPS applications. It’s compatible with SNMPv1, v2C, and v3 protocols, and fully supports IPv4 and IPv6 standards making it the perfect card for future migration options. With the SYSLOG support, this card can send messages to a maximum of four Syslog servers when an event occurs. It also features configurable event alarm levels and adjustable low battery warning alarm to customize the alarm report to your specific needs. And with the batch configurations and upgrades, large-scale deployment can be more easy and efficient, by configuring or updating firmware and pushing those changes to multiple cards over the network.
