Priyanka Chopra is one of the few Indian actors who can boast of a successful career in Bollywood as well as Hollywood. After spending a decade in Hollywood building her career it appears that Priyanka Chopra has won everyone's heart, including the paparazzi. The Hollywood paparazzi, usually in the news for their notorious invasion of privacy of stars, extended a moment of kindness to Priyanka Chopra at an event recently, when the actress fell on the red carpet. Priyanka in an interview shared that she “fell on her butt” at the premiere of her film Love Again in New York. After the fall, the paparazzi immediately put down their cameras, instead of clicking her pics, Priyanka Chopra said, adding that she was pleasantly surprised by the gesture.
During an interaction on ABC's talk show The View, Priyanka Chopra explained, "I haven't talked about this because I try and look for this thing (images/videos of the fall) every day on social media. But, I was wearing really high heels in this dress for it to look as tall as it did and you know, the red carpet is full of press people. Everyone is clicking pictures, fans. And, I fell on the carpet, on my shoes, I fell down all the way to my butt.”
What happened next was a first in her 23-year-old career, Priyanka Chopra said. “I have never seen this happen in my 23-year career, everyone put their cameras down and they said, ‘Don't worry about it Pri, take your time'. I was mortified for a second, but when I saw people do that, they said, ‘You're always so nice, we got this', till I stood up. And till now, there is no clip of me falling."
When asked how she managed to get back up, given that she was dressed in a structured gown and high heels, Priyanka Chopra said, “ I had help. I had five people. My husband [Nick Jonas] swooped in,” adding that she felt that at one point it would take a “hydraulic lift” to help her get up.

Ahead of the event, Priyanka Chopra had shared images of herself in a bleached denim dress by Nina Ricci and high heels, of course. About the film, she said, “It's coming to a theater near you. Love Again's premiere night [heart emoji].”
Replying to the post, Scandal star Kerry Washington said, “You're so beautiful. CONGRATULATIONS! (Obsessed with this dress!) Xo.” Gigi Hadid said, “Gorg,” while Rebel Wilson dropped fire emojis. Sayani Gupta wrote, “It's divine,” while Mouni Roy wrote, “So so beautiful.”
In addition to Love Again, Priyanka Chopra is currently starring in the web series Citadel. She will also be seen in the Bollywood movie Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
